F. Alex Risovich is a 2001 graduate of the Linsly School. He is a 2005 graduate of Marietta College with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a 2008 graduate of West Virginia University College of Law. In law school, Alex was the president of the West Virginia Student Trial Lawyers Association, was a member of the Marilyn E. Lugar Trial Association, and received a CALI award in Healthcare Law. After graduation from law school, Alex clerked for the Honorable Thomas H. Keadle, Judge of the Twenty-Sixth Judicial Circuit in West Virginia.
In 2009, Alex joined his father, Fred Risovich II, at Risovich Law Offices, PLLC in Weirton. He is licensed in the State of West Virginia and is also admitted in the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia. Alex has focused his career on trial work and litigation. He is a member of the West Virginia Association of Justice. Alex has successfully tried numerous cases in front of a jury during his career. In 2022, Alex was able to recover over $2.3 million dollars for Brooke County teachers when he was hired by WVEA to represent the largest teachers' union in the State of West Virginia. He focuses his practice on personal injury law, family law, criminal law, education law, and has a general litigation practice.
Alex joined Rokisky, McCune, Wilharm, Blair & Risovich PLLC as a partner in 2024. He resides in Weirton with his wife, Alaina, and two children, Luke and Amelia.
